Personal Presentation
On the morning of the interview:
- Be well-groomed.
- Use fragrance sparingly.
- Play uplifting music that makes you feel good.
- Exercise and take deep breathes if you are nervous.
Dress appropriately.
- Clothing should be neat, natural and not attention grabbing. The focus should be on your mind and work, not your outfit.
- If you are not sure about interviewing attire, ask your recruiter or the assistant of the person you are going to meet about the dress code. Business attire is safe for first interviews; sneakers and flip flops are not. Spaghetti straps, very tight clothing and bare midriffs are not
- Wear jewelry sparingly. Don’t wear anything that makes noise.
- Women with very long hair? Put it up.
